About Me... My name is Tara Compton. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, in May of 1994, and began teaching in August of 1994. I received my Master of Science in Elementary Education in August of 1998. I married my husband in October, 2004, right here at SSM! I taught in the same district for 10 years before having twin boys, Anderson and Everett, on May 25, 2004. For the first six years of their lives I was able to stay at home with them and now have decided it was time to get back to teaching. My journey led me to SSM and to third grade in August of 2010, and I am happy it did! |
